The TruMan Show
After a long and hard day at shopping ended up watching Tru Man show at the middle of the night almost after 10 years. I had no idea of closed community, realtiy shows etc etc when I watched it before and India was still virgin. I found those things completely American. But now I can understand a lot and relate a lot. In a way many of the apartments/villa communities in Bangalore are running a Truman show. There is just one difference, no one is watching you, yet.

A day of joy for spain
It started at 12:00 in the midnight, went on and on. Most of the time, the ball was near dutch goalpost. But their defense was a mix of concrete and stone. You can get hurt if hit it. Spanish coult not cut. First 30 minutes was electric, with spanish being very active. But all their shot towards goal were way off. With Spanish midfielders playing mostly on the dutch side, Robben was looking dangerous. After 90 minutes, energy was off in the game, people could not run. Torres who came in looked like someone who returned just after an accident in a drunken state. After seeing those pathetic shots made by xavi and villa towards the goal I feared that Spain will loose if they go for Penalty shoot out. I was sure, I will not watch penalty shoot out, if the match enters that stage. But Iniesta had destiny on his side. He was in the right spot at the right time and got a pass which he converted to a goal. He did it and whistle was blown even before the ducth could realize the goal. Good job Spain, a well deserved victory for all those passing, running, kicking and jumping.
Many people think that this is the boring final with only one goal at the end. I beg to differ. It just shows that champions need perseverance. Anyone who wins such games truly deserve it. Ask those spanish people who waited for 50 years, that 126 minutes is not much.
